Hoodia’s popularity primarily stems from claims that it was used by the hunters at the San Bushmen of the Kalahari Desert to ward of hunger and thirst. This was thousands of years ago, a time when long hunting trips was required. They primarily used it to ward off hunger and thirst during trips that required moving fast and long. They were known to cut off the stem and eat the raw bitter-tasting plant for the effect.

It has ingredient except p57 which has such profound impact on liver. Person who is taking any medication might as well avoid this product as also people who are diabetic. Pregnant woman and children should avoid this pill too.
